22. Do I need an OTP to open the app? What is the process ?
Yes, you need an OTP. As soon as you sign up from your registered mobile number, you will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your phone. Once you verify your number by entering the OTP, you can start using the app!
23. What is MPIN? Where is it used?
MPIN is required to ensure safety of data on your app. Think of it as your mobile app password. You can customize your MPIN and set it to an easy to remember number.
For security reasons, all transactions done through the app require MPIN verification.
24. When can I start using my mobile app?
As soon as you download the app and sign up, the app is ready for use.
25. How can I reset my MPIN?
You can reset the mobile app pin by selecting the ‘Change MPIN’ option by following the below steps

34. Can I temporarily lock / Unlock my card ?
Yes you can also temporarily lock your Beatroot card as many times as you like by following the below steps

  2. Select Settings option
  3. Select ‘ Lock / Unlock Temporarily’
  4. Turn On/ Off ‘Lock Card’
  5. Enter MPIN
  6. Tap on ‘Confirm’
35. What can I do if card is Lost / Stolen/ Damaged ?
Block your card immediately from your app by following the below steps.
 
  1. Tap on Menu Button
  2. Select Settings option
  3. Select ‘Permanently Block Card’
  4. Turn on ‘Block Card’
  5. Choose the desired option
